TrueClays is a state-of-the-art clay shooting simulator, made for clay shooters by clay shooters. It is used by elite athletes, coaches, clubs and enthusiasts to build real, transferable shooting skills — without firing a single live shot.
TrueClays detects every shot in real time, times it to the millisecond, calculates the ballistics, flies the pellets and breaks the clay in about the same time as on a real range. Because the target breaks from the actual point of impact, the fragments fly the way they would outdoors — and your brain starts learning from them after only a few shots.
Real ranges are modelled in the simulator, with wind, cartridges, chokes and authentic thrower sounds, so you can prepare for a competition in the environment you will shoot it in.

Some still claim laser-based systems can't be accurate. TrueClays shot detection reaches approximately 0.1 pixel precision — in real time, on fast-moving targets.
Shot patterns you can trust
TrueClays operates at such accuracy and speed that shot patterns and hit areas are the same as, or within the tolerances of, a real shotgun — in every discipline, including the fast Olympic ones.
Every millisecond accounted for.
TrueClays keeps track of the clay and the shot millisecond by millisecond — so the lead you give is the lead that counts.
How the timing works
The moment you pull the trigger is timestamped to the exact millisecond. The hit is calculated against where the clay actually was at that millisecond — not where it happened to be when the computer finished its work.
If the computer needs one millisecond longer to process a shot, TrueClays adapts: the target's hit area is moved back to the clay's position at the moment of the shot.
At 25 m/s a skeet clay travels 2.5 cm every millisecond. That is why the result has to depend on the shooter's timing, not on the computer's.
The picture never stops. The clay keeps flying through the shot, so swing, follow-through and the second barrel stay exactly as they are on the range.
Feel where the shot went
On a real range you often know where the shot went before anything tells you — miss behind with the first barrel, pull ahead, and break the clay with the second on reflex.
In TrueClays you get the same feeling and make the same micro-corrections. That reflex only develops when every input is the same as on the range:

Same inputs, same reflex
If any one input differs from real shooting, the brain cannot calibrate and the correction does not carry over to the range. TrueClays is built so that every input stays the same — which is what makes the training transfer.

Tracker — barrel analyzer

A TrueClays invention that trains the shooter's "software" — the brain. NVT turns the target from a streak into a hidden zone and then a sharp focal "pop", forcing correct eye movement and timing instead of reactive guessing.

30 milliseconds decide the shot
We have measured the difference between a good and a bad shot at as little as 30 ms of timing. NVT is deliberately a little harder than the range — train against the harder version, and the range feels easier.

A classic discipline, recreated. Birds are released from boxes in front of the peg, and an AI flight engine makes every one different: they flush into the wind and break with it, some stay low and run late for the boundary, some sit before they go, and a rare one wheels back toward the shooter. A bird only scores if it falls inside the fence — and in a strong wind it can drift out on the way down.
